Hi, I’m Rebecca, owner of Brands Establishment Marrickville.
Myself and my Weimaraner Clarence love nothing more than exploring what we consider to be the best suburb in Sydney. From its industrial warehouse feel to its incredible community spirit, Marrickville is truly unlike anywhere else.
What makes Marrickville so special is the incredible mix of cultures, amazing food, local breweries, cafés, small businesses, and the people who give the suburb its personality. There is nowhere quite like it.
And honestly — can you beat having a beer while watching the sunset at Marrickville Bowlo? We don’t think so.
Whether it’s finding a hidden coffee spot, trying a new local restaurant, supporting small businesses, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, we’re always discovering something new to love about Marrickville.

☕ Best Coffee & Breakfast in Marrickville
Marricks Coffee
If you know Marrickville, you probably know Marricks. It’s one of our go-to morning coffee stops before opening the warehouse. Great coffee, a local atmosphere, and always busy for a reason.
Bertas
Amazing coffee and even better sandwiches. I love them all, but the rare roast beef sandwich I had the other day was elite.
Double Tap Coffee
If there’s one thing we recommend ordering, it’s the breakfast wrap. Easily one of the best breakfast wraps in Marrickville and the perfect way to start the day. Great coffee, great food, and always worth the stop.
🍺 Best Breweries & Pubs in Marrickville
Philter Brewing
One of our absolute favourite breweries in Marrickville — especially for the chicken wings. Pair them with an XPA and you’ve got a pretty hard combo to beat. Great atmosphere, relaxed vibe, and the perfect place to catch up with friends after work.
Marrickville Bowlo
A true local gem. Cold beer, good food, and a real community feel.
This has to be my favourite place in Marrickville. They have live music, a great atmosphere, and it’s perfect for catching up over a beer, going on a date, having a birthday party, or even a work party. Honestly, there isn’t much you can’t do at the Bowlo.
Marrickville Hotel
This place deserves a mention for one reason alone — Vietnamese food delivered straight to your seat in the bar.
Grab a beer, order some amazing Vietnamese food, and settle in. Not to mention the Sunday badge draw, where you might even be able to win yourself a pair of our Redback boots.

One of the most unique dining experiences in Marrickville. The food, atmosphere, and overall vibe make it somewhere we keep going back to.
VN Street Food
If you’re after fresh, tasty Vietnamese food, this is one of our go-to local spots. Consistently good and always satisfying. The bun cha is an obvious favourite.
Gia Dinh
Another Marrickville staple for Vietnamese food. Big flavours, generous portions, and one of those places locals keep coming back to.
We especially love the banh xeo.

Yard Gym Marrickville
One of the best ways to start the day. A great local gym with a strong community feel and a solid training environment.
